Husband Divorces wife over Breast Enhancement
A woman who used a breast enhancement gel has been divorced by her husband after he blamed the steroid injections for causing their daughter’s cerebral palsy, Guangzhou Daily reported Friday.
Zhou Shaoping, 40, from Anhui province, told the paper that she spent 5,000 yuan ($747) having the product Amazingel injected in 2003 at a clinic.
She hoped getting bigger breasts could gain her more affection from men after she was betrayed by her ex.
In 2006, Zhou gave birth to a baby girl after meeting a new partner and one year later got married.
Though she thought her breast milk was unusually yellow, she still fed her baby for three months. The baby was later confirmed to have cerebral palsy, but it is not known if it was caused by the breast gel injections.

After Zhou and her husband spent all of their money trying to help find a cure for their baby they started to quarrel. When her husband discovered Zhou had used Amazingel in the past, he blamed her and left, the paper said.
Zhou said she gave up her career to look after her sick girl and had to go live with her parents.
She told the paper she suffers pain in her breasts, but she is not sure if it is caused by the gel.
Wake Up People, Please Wake Up – Stella Damasus
The above topic is what I have been saying to as many people as I can reach out to. Have you not noticed how everything we read about is negative? All we see in the news is economic crash, war, hunger, murder, bomb blasts, removal of subsidy and it’s outcome, police brutality, corruption, terrorism, hurricanes, flood, fire outbreaks, incurable diseases, unexplained epidemics, a major drop in academics, increase in jobless youths, armed robbery.
Should I go on?
I am sure your list is even longer than mine, and I am also sure that sometimes you get tired of turning the television on because you know that all you will see are things that will depress you and make you worry, or even put fear in you.
I know that I am actually tired so I find myself intentionally looking for positive things that will put a smile on my face, brighten up my day, give me hope for a better tomorrow, lift my spirit, help me love more and live better.
I must admit that in the midst of all the chaos, it is extremely difficult to remain positive and hopeful. Where we do we turn to, our churches? Well even some religious leaders are afraid. Where do we run to, America?
Hmmmmm you better read the news and find out all the issues they are facing there too. Who do we cry to, the government? Ha ha ha ha… that’s so funny. We have tried that, have we not?
Most of us are in a state of despair and are taking life each day as it comes. People have lost hope, faith, joy, peace, love, unity, mental freedom and financial freedom.
I listened carefully to the stories my mother used to tell me about how life was in her days and I found myself almost saying I wish I was born then.
Stella Damasus – How Not To Raise A Child
I had a conversation with my mum late last year and we were talking about things that were happening around the world, the things that young children get up to these days, the obscenity that the media celebrates and so on.
She looked at me and said, “people should stop saying the end is near, they should know that it’s already hereâ€. I remembered that statement recently after all the issues with the fuel subsidy, nation-wide strike, bombings, my colleagues in the entertainment world dropping dead so frequently, and realized that truly we need to pay attention to that which we have all been distracted from.
That is God. I am not a preacher, I am not one of the righteous neither am I an evangelist. I am just a lady who has discovered the answers to who do I turn to? Where do I run to? Think about it please, who else can save us now?
As soon as I realized this, I found out that he will not come down Himself to make things better, he would send people who are already in existence (I hope).
Then I knew I had to make a decision: it was either I remain in a state of fear and despair so I too can be saved by those people who God will use, or I become one of those people who will be chosen to take up the leadership wherever I am to go and help people.
How Not To Raise A Child Part 2 – Stella Damasus
I am sure you know which option I chose. I have always preached the gospel of being a part of the solution and not the problem. So imagine if all of us reading this article decide to be part of the chosen ones to help others and our country instead of lamenting, fighting and talking inside their rooms through their iPads and phones, what a strong positive force we will be.
If everyone can look around himself and his environment and think of something he can do to help, even if it’s two kids, training, mentoring, giving food, volunteer work, whatever it is that will put a smile on someone’s face; that would mean a lot more than the non-effective talk a lot of people have embraced.
I am tired of reading all sorts of irrelevant ‘action less’ talk on my mail from people who abuse others from their own privacy just to invade mine with negativity.
I wish my emails will be filled with ideas from people on how to move our country forward, how the education system can be better, how transportation can be made easy and cheap, how we can grow our own food, how we can generate electricity and so on.
All they do is fill my head with information I have seen a million and one times, listing out names of those who have stolen money and how many houses they have.
Truth is we all know these things and we are tired of recounting, so instead of wasting all this anger and dwelling on the problem, why don’t we use that venom and energy to find solutions that can help us.
All the big grammar and research they use to compose all the e-mails that just insult people, can actually be used to draft a world class document that can be presented to the State Houses of Assembly, National Assembly or the Presidency.
Whether it is accepted or not is not the issue, but at least let the attempt be made so we know that we have true leaders among us who can help push this country forward.
Remember, be a part of the solution and not the problem.
Don’t dwell on the problem, find a solution and move on.
Quote for the day: The problem with life is that by the time you know it, you are too far gone for the lessons to be useful to you and so one generation makes the same mistakes of the last and the cycle of pain goes on.

After Rumoured Marriage Crash With Hubby, Jennifer Eliogu Gives Reasons For Nollywood Marriages Break-Ups
Delectable Jenifer Eliogu is one woman that has paid her dues in the make-believe industry called Nollywood. There was a rumour of her marriage break up a couple of months back but this mother of two has never reacted on the issue until now that she opened up on her marriage and other sundry issues.
Responding to question if her marriage is still intact, this is what she said ‘’I don’t own anybody any explanation! What I own them is to continue to shoot good films, adding values to lives-that I will keep doing but my private life remains private. I have a right to my private life and I will not discuss my private life-not with you or with any other person. Looking at a woman, you can tell whether she is happy or not and I know that I’m a happy woman…are you not seeing I’m happy?’’
Jenifer whose latest flicked has recorded unprecedented success during the premier in London, US and Nigeria further said, ‘’I’m a happy woman, and my children are doing beautifully well and their father as well is doing well; whatever insinuations you have, whatever speculations, it’s unfortunate that I don’t care, I have a right to my privacy…I don’t know where you heard it from that my marriage is crashed, I don’t know where it came from. I don’t know why you are still dwelling on this, you can go and find out where and how because you are the investigator.’’
Jenifer was asked to comment on the celebrity marriage break ups that has become a serious issue in Nollywood, she said, ‘’I don’t know what causes problems in other people’s homes! I don’t live with them so I don’t see how I’m supposed to know. It’s unfortunate that marriages are breaking up, but it’s not synonymous with the industry. It happens in every sector. When two people are not compatible or having misunderstandings, there might be break up, sometimes they make up eventually and sometimes they don’t. But asking me what the problem is, is what I don’t know. I think it’s just the devil at work.’’

Pregnant Turkish woman shoots and kills her rapist, beheads him and displays head in village square
According to reports, the 26 year old mother of two had been constantly and consistently abused by her rapist for whom she is currently 5 months pregnant. Using the threat of sending nude pictures to her parents, he forced her to have sex against her will. The one thing that her rapist didn’t bargain for was her determination that her ‘honor’ would not be ruined.
The tables turned when he threatened to tell everyone about the rape and all she could see was her honor and that of her children being ruined. She shot him 10 times (several times in the genitals) stabbed him, cut off his head and flung it into the village square at Yalvac.
When arrested she said ‘That is the head of the one who toyed with my honor’
‘Everyone would have insulted my children. Now no one can. I saved my honor. They will now call [my] children the kids of the women who saved her honor’
She is now demanding an abortion and even though abortions of fetuses over 10 weeks old are illegal in Turkey; she says she’s willing to die as long as she gets the abortion.
Not surprisingly, womens’ groups in Turkey have praised her as a heroine
Boko Haram Accountant Arrested With N4.5m Cash
The government’s effort in putting an end to the security threat posed by Islamic sect, Boko Harm in Nigeria seems to be bearing fruits as a man reported to be the accountant of the group has been arreested.
The accountant was said to be travelling between Kano and Zaria last week, with N4.5 million cash belonging to the Islamist group when men of the Joint Task Force apprehended him. Vanguard newspaper sources said he was travelling in a commuter bus as a cover.
The Islamist group’s accountant’, it was learnt, embarked on the journey which originated from Maiduguri, Borno State, to make cash transfers. The sources said his cover blew after he and another associate made some money transfers in Kano, an action that aroused the curiosity of bank officials who alerted security agents. This led to the arrest of the associate but, as at that time, the `accountant’ was already on his way to Zaria.
Security operatives went after the man in a serious manhunt that yielded fruit as the `Boko Haram accountant’ was arrested on his way to Zaria. He is now being interrogated by security agents.
There has been reports of a bomb blast in a Catholic church in Bauchi State this morning. Although, the Islamic sect group has not claimed responsibilty for the attack, the group has been linked to similar attacks in the past.
The Islamist group has claimed responsiblity for several deadly attacks in the northern part of the country. The arrest may prove a great breakthrough in putting an end to the menace.

7-Up Manager Slumped And Died In Hotel Room While With Junior Staff In Edo State
The Human Resources Manager of 7-Up Bottling Company at its Benin City plant, Mr. Sola Mosiko, has collapsed and died in a hotel room in Benin City, Edo State, Southsouth Nigeria.
Our investigation reveals that Mosiko, 53, had gone to the hotel with a lady called Amen, a security guard at the company, to have fun when the tragedy occurred.
The lady was arrested by the police after she fled from the hotel room immediately her boss cum lover slumped and was grasping for breath.
An indigene of Ayetoro-Gbede in Kogi State, Northcentral Nigeria, Mosiko called at the hotel with Amen after the day’s work to relax and enjoy themselves.
However, a few hours after they checked into the hotel, the lady rushed out and was shouting for help. But all efforts to resuscitate Mosiki proved abortive.
Amen was later arrested and handed over to the police at Ekiadolor Police Station, Benin City. She was detained for three days after which she was released.
According to sources, Mosiko’s wife and children left Lagos for Benin City to spend their vacation with him and on the night of the incident, his wife made several calls to his phone without any response. But the following morning, the police used her husband’s phone to call and invite her to the hospital where Mosiko was taken to.
A source said: “When Mrs. Mosiko’s phone rang in the morning, she felt something was amiss since she could not sleep throughout the night while awaiting the arrival of her husband at home. She became more worried when the caller, a policeman invited her to a hospital.
“Initially, she thought it was an accident. But she was shocked when she searched her dead husband’s body and saw no wound. She was later informed that her husband died in a hotel.”
The corpse of the former manager was deposited at the mortuary.
A staff of 7-UP who spoke to P.M.NEWS on condition of anonymity, confirmed the incident.
He Is Never Going To Leave His Wife But I want Him for Myself
For the past 6 months I have been having an affair with the owner of the company I work for who happens to also be married. I realize that it is wrong but for some reason we keep coming back to each other within days of “ending” our affair. The sex is amazing and I think that is part of the reason we can’t stop.
I know I am an attractive female but I can’t figure out why I allow myself to be used by him, he is never going to leave his wife for me and I don’t expect him to.
My best friend said that I need to work on my confidence and it is always the pretty girls that have the lowest self esteem. Any words of advice to help me end it for good? It is apparent that I lack respect for myself. Thanks!
I Don’t Know My Father – My Mother Will Not Tell Me Who he Is
My name is chuks. I am a 45 year old man . The only thing I know about my father is that his name is Franklin , he is from south south and he met my mother in Lagos. My mother’s name is Dorothy. He was involved in a business.
He apparently had some sort of a brief relationship with my mother as opposed to a one night stand because, when I was a kid, my grandparents would say with some sort of admiration, “You’re just like your father.
” They apparently liked him. I was too young to ask questions, I just accepted the fact that he wasn’t around. My grandparents have since died. My mother is still alive and refuses to share more than what I’ve mentioned above.
In March 2010, I pressed her for more answers, but she just clammed up. I asked her if she thought he was still alive, she said, “Yeah, if he hasn’t drank himself to death.” I feel like I’m the only one who has a living mother, and at age 45, still knows so little about his father. I have not talked to her since then.
I’ve never seen his face, never touched his hand, nothing… I’m now a successful man, I have a masters degree, have lived in several countries, and I’m doing very well in life in many regards. I sometimes, however, wonder how much better off I would be if I had a father who was there for me.
I have no idea what it is like to experience to love of a father. So sad not knowing where the other half of your own existence came from. has anyone passed through this situation before, please i need an experienced person to tell me how to go about it. Am fed up, What do i do?

MI, Omawumi Celebrate Africa At ‘An Evening With Coca Cola’
African culture took centre stage at an ‘Evening with Coca-Cola’, a grand event that reawakened the consciousness of hundreds of Nigerian youths and rocked their world in a sensational way. The event was the official launch of ‘A Billion Reasons to Believe in Africa’ Coca-Cola’s latest continental campaign, which took place on Thursday evening, September 6 at Habour Point, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Thrilling the crowd was the amazing trio of Iyanya, MI and Omawunmi, who were at their best as they dished out hit after hit to the joy of the teenagers, young adults, celebrities in the arts, comedy, fashion and music scene.
The event was anchored by witty comedienne, Helen Paul and ‘Goge Africa’ host, Isaac Moses who projected a regal pose through the evening. The DJ provided a foretaste of the evening, which was followed with performances by young poets SageBlack, Elizabeth Ole and Nonnie. The crowd was thrilled to a frenzy when a dance drama depicted the evolution of Nigerian music from the seventies till date.
Kukere Master, Iyanya, was the first to perform and he got the crowd on its feet with his hot single, ‘Kukere,’ before doing the very popular ‘Your Waist.’ Iyanya said, “I believe in the originality of Africans. God loves us so much as can be seen from our fantastic climate, free from natural disasters. Though we have our own shortcomings, we are blessed. Our hospitality is second to none. I want youths at this event today to aspire to be the best just like Coca-Cola. Coca-Cola is one of the biggest brands in the world and I’m telling youths to be like Coca-Cola, and prove that they can succeed.”
By the time MI got on stage, the entire room was already electrified. He got the entire arena to its feet with his rendition of ‘Action Film’ and brought the house down with ‘Africa Number One.’ MI, speaking to journalists, said he is an ideal candidate that can inspire young people to believe in the continent. “I landed in Lagos five years ago with nothing more than a bus ticket and the belief that I was going to be a success story,” he said. “Today, I am celebrated and respected everywhere I go. I have been to many great places in the world and I am a success story; I typify a reason to believe in Africa.”
The sensational Omawunmi got everyone dancing to her live performance of ‘If you ask me’ and ‘Bottom-Belle.’
‘A Billion Reasons to Believe’ is an extension of Coca-Cola’s global Open Happiness campaign, which sees happiness in everyday occurrences in our society. The campaign seeks to celebrate and highlight all things good about Africa, with the hope of raising a new generation of Africans that are excited about its future. The ‘Evening with Coca-Cola’ was an expression of African poetry, fashion, music and dance. Every guest had the chance to sign the ‘Believe Wall’, stating their reason to believe in Africa.
Olufemi Ashipa, Brand Manager, Colas, Coca-Cola Manager, said the company’s conviction in the unparalleled potentials inherent in Africa’s youths. “The youths of Africa have the manpower, the intellect and resources to change the world,” he said. “Nigeria is already taking the world by storm with the great feats being accomplished in the areas of technology, fashion, business, music, literature etc. That is what tonight’s event is all about; celebrating the past with a forward view and great hope for the future.”
Kenneth Archibong, a 200-level student of Accounting at the Lagos State University, said he was inspired by the Afrocentric performances of the artists and the poets. He said the fact that Coca-Cola gave him the chance to meet and interact with his musical idols was gratifying. “I had fun tonight and the guys that performed were all on point,” he said. “I enjoyed MI’s performance the most and the poets were also very good. The fashion show was also nice. I think Coca-Cola pulled it off and, after seeing the whole show, I’m going home with hope for a better Nigeria and a better Africa.”
Another youth, Derin Oshineye, a student of the University of Lagos, said she was excited for Nigeria and believed the future would be great. “Nigeria is blessed with good people, who love to enjoy life and have fun,” the Theatre Arts student said. “They are hardworking and respectful. I believe all the economic challenges are all designed to make us better. Overall, tonight, Coca-Cola made me proud to be African.”
Consumers can participate in the campaign by sharing some of their reasons to believe and personal stories of optimism, passion and belief in Africa on the Coca-Cola Nigeria Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/cokenaija). Users of Twitter can also send a tweet to @CocaCola_NG.
The evening was rounded off perfectly by a fashion show by Touch of Magic, an award-winning fashion house that works with African fabrics.

Lol...abeg make una read...my hand is not dey there o. Culled from The Nation
Worshippers of the World Liberation Ministry located along old Sapele-Benin express road on Tuesday took to their heels during a prophesy programme when a female member delivered a horse.
The horse was however dead by the time Journalists visited the church. It was gathered that the woman whose identity was not yet known started screaming during the prayer session and began to bleed from the vagina before the horse came out.
The General Overseer of the church, Evangelist Silva Wealth, said he was still amazed at what came out of the woman.
He told Journalists that during prayers a revelation came that there was a woman with an issue and that something was blocking her womb.
Silva said as prayers intensified, the woman started screaming and bleeding started when the object came out.
The cleric said he couldn’t confirm whether the horse was dead or alive because he didn’t go near it.
“I can’t describe the object. We have seen people that vomited several things during our service but not this type of thing. God has been blessing our ministry with prophesies and miracles, “he said.
People rushed to the church to catch a glimpse of the horse when news of the delivery filtered into town.

My Brother-in-law Impregnated my Daughter and Ran Away!
Please, help me. Do not allow my brother-in-law to get away with what he did to my daughter. If I had enough money, I would have sued him. But since I don’t have money, please, help me plead my cause. I am begging you. I am a widow with five children. My husband of 24 years died six years ago.
24 years of marriage is enough to have grown up children to take care of me even if my husband had to die the time he did, but I never had a child until after 10 years of marriage. My daughter came after 10 years of marriage and the others came in quick succession as if we had never had a delay.
As a couple then, we blessed God for these gifts, not knowing thatmy husband would leave us sooner than expected to the vices of the devil and his enemies who he thought were his friends and family. All the years that we were married and waiting on the Lord, he took care of his family members, nephews and nieces.
I was a primary school teacher in a small town in Ekiti, while my husband was a headmaster in another school in a nearby village. He loved education; he always spoke of how he would love our children to have good education. So when ours did not come in time, he trained his family and their children and his wish was always that even if he could not train his own kids, those he trained would. This was why after my husband’s burial, his family decided that my daughter should go to the city and live with her uncle; my husband’s youngest sibling who lives and works in Lagos with his own family.
My husband saw him through school and he promised to reciprocate by sending my daughter to school. I never liked him or his wife, but the other family members and the desire for a good life for my daughter prevailed. I allowed her to go when she finished secondary school, which was two years after the death of my husband Just like her father, Feiykemi is very brilliant; she passed her SSCE without a single “C”.
All her grades were As and Bs, yet when she got to Lagos, her uncle who promised heaven and earth neither sent her to school immediately nor registered her in a coaching class where she would be prepared for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) as I was told. I didn’t want to interfere with her life with her uncle, so I never visited, but she was sending messages home and when one of my relatives who normally checked on her bought a phone for her it was easy contacting her.
I later learnt there were no plans to send my daughter to school; she was used as a housemaid in her uncle’s house. When I raised this issue with the eldest member of their family, he sent for my late husband’s brother (Dele). He came home and told a lot of lies; one of which included the fact that my daughter’s grades were from a village school and she could not gain admission to a city higher institution with what she has.
I knew it was a lie, I tried to raise this fact that two other girls from our village with results not as good as my daughter’s are at the University of Ibadan, but the old man’s argument was that Dele is as good as Feyikemi’s father and he has every right to train her. I would have taken care of my daughter and she would have been in the higher institution by now. Another issue is that her uncle was harassing her sexually, but she did not tell me.
Dele forcefully had sex with my daughter several times, especially on days when his wife, who is a nurse, was away on night duty. He got Feyikemi pregnant and when his wife found out, Feyikemi told her that her husband was responsible for her pregnancy; he denied and according to her she could no longer speak after her uncle hit her on the chest. She was pushed out to the street with a three- -month-old pregnancy.
She slept on the street for several nights, unable to speak or identify herself until a woman who attended a spiritual church found her hungry and almost dead in an uncompleted building. She took her to her church and after series of prayer session, she was able to narrate what happened to her.
Meanwhile, Dele and his wife had been to the village to tell everyone who cared to listen that Feyikemi ran away from their house when they discovered that she was pregnant and she could not say who was responsible for her pregnancy.
During the two-week search for Feyikemi, I almost died, but I kept praying that God would take care of her wherever she was. All along, their story did not convince me and some of the elderly women in the village. In fact, one of my friends was afraid that probably they had use my daughter for rituals and they came to lie.
We visited spiritualists and churches and we were assured that she would be found. I was almost losing hope when one evening, she walked in accompanied by two women and a man; the Shepherd of the Celestial Church where she was taken care of, his wife and the woman who found her in the uncompleted building. I broke down and wept when my daughter relayed all that happened to her.
I quickly sort Baba Agba’s audience before those who came with my daughter left. They relayed what happened to Baba before they left. Baba immediately sent for Dele and his wife, but up till now, they are yet to come to the village. In fact, some of our people sent to Lagos to see Dele and his wife, but they haven’t been able to see him.
His wife sent a message to Baba that he travelled out of the country. It is over two months now that Feyikemi came back to the village with her uncle’s child growing inside her. We all have to look after her, because she had attempted suicide twice. Dele has destroyed my daughter’s life and he is somewhere in Lagos enjoying life with his wife and children.
I want justice, Aunty Taiwo. Sometimes, I even feel his family members are trying to shield him from the wrath of the law and justice. Several times, my family members have taken steps to have him arrested in Lagos, but Baba and others were always saying that we cannot do such except he comes and says his own side, as we cannot nail him based on Feyikemi’s words alone.Yet he has refused to show up.
Please, help me. Mrs. F Ade, Ekiti State.
Unbelievable – Dead Man Appears After 37 Years in Abeokuta
An amazing event was recorded in the ancient town of Abeokuta, Ogun State, as a man that was believed to have died about four decades ago was sighted at Mawuko area of Odeda local government area of the state.
The appearance of a man known as late Sheikh Ibraheem Nyaas at a newly constructed building in the area has continued to attract visitors both within and outside the State since the unusual event occurred few days ago.
Credible sources confirmed that last week Friday, the “ghost” of sheikh Ibraheem who had died for almost 37 years ago started appearing on the walls of a building belonging to one Saubana Fadeyi.
Expectedly, the strange happening has turned the sleepy Mawuko village into a Mecca of sorts as people thronged the area to see another oddity and seek the face of Allah.
The owner of the building who moved into the yet to be completed two bedroom flat a day to the eid el fitri celebration while speaking with a reporter confirmed that he started noticing a very faint brightness on the wall of his sitting room and the figure that showed on the wall was a replica of the portrait of Sheikh Nyass that he engraved at the entrance of the building.
His words: “My wife first noticed it and she rushed out to inform me, when I also saw it, I was greatly terified, wondering how such thing could have happened”.
“My thought was that the ghost would eventually disappeared but on the second day, it brightens more and started showing on all sides of the building which made me ran to a pastor of a church near my house for assistance”.
Collaborating the husband, Mrs Maryam Fadeyi said that when she saw that the happening was a strange thing, “I told my husband to inform those that knows better than us, it was then we called on an Imam at a nearby mosque after the Pastor that we invited had advised that we seek for help from muslim clerics to solve the misery”.
Fadeyi said that he immediately invited some Muslim clerics in the area to come and behold the strange happenings in his house.
Fadeyi said “shouts of ‘Allahu Akbar (God is Great)’ rented the air as hundreds of people trooped in to behold what happened”.
